30 Years Anniversary Game

24 May 2025, Munich. The Munich Kangaroos Football Club hosted the anniversary match celebrating 30 years of Australian Football in Germany. The two inaugural clubs, the Frankfurt Football Club e.V. and Munich Kangaroos Football Club e.V., both founded in 1995, played the first Australian Football match in Germany on 23 June 1996 in Frankfurt’s Ostpark. Since Hamburg withdrew from the league at the beginning of the season, only the game against Stuttgart/Heidelberg took place.
